Deluxcious is launching Dinner / Lunch and Hi-Tea Buffet starting on 30th September 2011.
I was told that for dinner buffet, you can order as many plates of main courses (scroll down to see the menu) as you like except No.77 to No.83 e.g. the cod fish, beef and lamb (which are going to remain as ala-carte orders). At the buffet stream, soup, salad and dessert will be served like usual buffet style. Drinks available will be skyjuice. In order to suit the buffet theme, the main courses that you order will be around one-third (1/3) of the usual serving size, thus you can afford to order as many dishes as you like to try out the taste.

Deluxcious is located strategically in the hub of Georgetown at Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah, opposite the KWSP (beside Citibank). It is previously more well-known to me as ‘a restaurant that also provides spa cuisine package’. Now alongside with the opening of Deluxcious Hotel in early September 2011, here it comes the fiery hot launching of dinner/lunch/ hi-tea buffet!
This is the quaint heritage building where the spa cuisine is offered. A colonial mansion in 19 century style.
It looks gorgeously outstanding during night time.

It was a Tuesday night at 6pm. The whole restaurant is ours, seems like we have booked the whole of it!
We ordered 5-course sets. Here’s the bread and butter. Frankly, I was not that impressed with the bread if compared to the Salsa one, which is served warm and soft.
Calamari salad. This is an appetizing salad. Addition of crumbed prawn is something worth mentioning in this dish.
Pumpkin Soup.
80. The Rack of Lamb Marinated with Balinese Spice (Award Winning Dishes in Food-Asia, Award Winning Best Flavor in AACO)
Since this is an award winning dish as recommended in the menu, we ordered then. [Set D- RM82.00]
Two pieces of lamb racks. Serving size was as expected, averagely smaller in size if judge alone without the side dishes BUT impressive indeed with the chef’s ‘medium-cooked’ tenderness! It was controlled ‘ngam ngam’ ‘tu-tu-hoe’! Kudos to the chef! I must recommend this to all who appreciate lamb racks!
74. Barramundi Fish with Sea-clam Broth and Basil Aioli [Set C - RM42.00]
This was considered a rather salty dish, as you can see from the abundance of clams. Therefore from the first few bites onwards, I have started to wish “Argh! What if this is served together with spaghetti?! It would be PERFECT! ” I believe this dish can be further modified to serve with spaghetti, of course with price adjustment! Hmm…or may be I can order an ala-carte of it. That will surely complete my meal with tears of appreciation!

After dinner, we were truly pampered enough! We got the chance to to visit each of the hotel rooms. Wow, thanks a lot ! Their rooms are divided into standard, superior, deluxe, deluxe suite, junior suite and family suite, price ranges from RM238 to RM588 nett.
